Overflow Filling Systems

For sauces, syrups, light gels and shampoos, foamy cleansers and chemicals, water and other non-carbonated aqueous beverages.

The overflow filling machine can fill low to medium viscosity products with particulates up to 1/16" diameter. This particular filler is the easiest to use and the most reliable of all the types we manufacture. Its capacity can be expanded in the field without any changes to the system computer or the need for a field service visit. This type of filler is the best solution for products that foam. Overflow fillers also provide the highest throughput (speed) for straight line type fillers. In some cases, these type of fillers rival the output of rotary machines.

EXAMPLES:
Sauces, syrups, light gels and shampoos, foamy cleansers and chemicals, water and other non-carbonated aqueous beverages.

All nozzles in the overflow filler will fill identically to a maximum fill height in the container as determined by the level of the overflow portion of the filling valve. Unlike the time pressure machine, only one set of parameters for fill time and pump speed is needed to ensure all containers are filled to the target height. This complete lack of complexity makes the overflow filler the number one choice of filling machines provided the range of applications is appropriate.

Overflow fillers do not work on high viscosity products such as very heavy shampoos or cosmetic creams. Very heavy products can cause over pressurization in the container. If your filling requirement calls for high viscosity products or particulates greater than 1/16" diameter, we recommend our time pressure fillers   For smaller volume fills on high value products that require high precision accuracy, we recommend our biomed/ precision fillers.

All electrical components meet NEMA 4x standards for wet environments and full high pressure washdown capability. Nozzles and fluid path connections meet FDA requirements for sanitary compliance. All fluid path connections are "tri-clamp" for quick disconnect without any hand tools. All models feature computer controlled "clean-in-place" capability.

Computer Control System is Easy to Use.
Everybody claims "easy to use". In our opinion, a system is only easy to use if the computer actually informs you of choices and actions in plain English and in complete sentences! Our system uses a 40 character digital display so that the operator can navigate through the simple menu without having to refer to a manual. System errors are immediately displayed to the operator with simple instructions as to how to solve the problem. If you can get your money out of a bank teller machine, you can use our filler!

Changeover to Different Bottles is Fast, Flexible, & Easy.
Changes in bottle diameters are easily accomplished using nozzle holders that glide into place without hand tools. Bottle height adjustment is automatic by electric linear actuator. Gates and photoeyes are attached to railing with spring loaded fasteners that require no tools. Set up parameters for each of your products is memorized by the computer for push button convenience.

Unique, Two Stage Filling Concept Increases Throughput and Accuracy.
Higher performance throughput is achieved with our system using a sequenced filling cycle that optimizes pump speed to the viscosity of your product. The fill cycle is profiled to the shape and volume of your container to minimize the filling time.High first stage flow rates in the fluid path increase overall accuracy compared to other systems that can only run at one speed.

Full Value in Automation with a Wide Range of Options.
Our system provides for true automation up front with all important features such as no bottle/no fill, line downstream backup/no fill, automatic bottle height adjustment.
